Given the fact that you and I are forced at gunpoint to pay for these guys' office space (stadiums), I'm a little confused as to why I wasn't consulted on this deal. $600 million in this city, $800 million in that one - out of your pocket and into theirs at gunpoint. Be sure and pay your taxes though.

Cody,

While I am really not in favor of having to pay taxes for stadiums just for professional sports. I do feel that the new rules by the NBA about not being eligble for the draft are purely racist based. I mean when was the last time you heard about some white kid, being taken advantage of to sign a pro baseball contract at 18 skip college and make 2500.00 a month if there lucky enough to chase the dream. Danika Patrick is 18 and was going 230 mph. Racecar drivers can die at work. Then lets talk about Tennis, Golf, Hockey, Horse racing (maybe their just short not young) yet just because the white community thinks the 6-8 black guy with the 10 carot diamond earings, Driving the trick Escalade with 25" spinners. making 12 mill for the first 3 years shouldent be there, because hes too inmature to handle that kind of money and responsibility. I think David Stern and his band of very rich owners have forgotten they were all 18 at one time and were not held back. this is anti- american anti free market and fully based on RACISM of The jealous white man.
