I wouldn't quite consider Guevara as an evil communist like Castro. I believe he had a falling out with Castro over communism and the ties with the Soviets.
Communism entails taking wealth from private citizens by force -- threatening their lives with death if they do not give up their wealth .... and murder is evil. Evil is redundant as an adjective for communist. All communists are evil, because all communists endorse murder.
And yes, I saw that movie about this evil man.
Supporting and enriching(and in some cases training) semi-democratic semi-military government leaders that rule with secret death squads to further american business and/or military interests is also evil. Or no?
Would you possibly expect me to defend such actions? Of course, it's evil! What does that have to do with the price of tea in China or the fact that all communists are evil?

Such actions are what communists say they are fighting against, and said actions are what american government officials feel as necessary to fight communism. This is where the phrase "necessary evil" is born and supported by too many people, and why it bothers me that people see the other side as evil without facing our own government's actions and its consequences.
