Plastic Insides
So, it's fun. Hanging out at a beautiful hotel and being catered to, and running around LA and meeting people, networking, learning, thinking, pushing.
But, it's then again, it's just what it is.
So much plastic. So much emptiness (I love the paradox of that phrase). So much facade.
And thus I found myself not pushing it last night. Even got some rest last night. Because I was tired and burning out of the moment. It is what it is.

I am so saddened by people from New York who come to LA and don't see the greatness that it is. Sure, it has problems like every other place, but simply saying that LA is fake and full of emptiness is such a cop out. It's generic, that's what everyone looking from the outside sees, its uncreative and lacks imagination. If you look deeper, beyond the surface you realize it is not empty, its full of real people with real feelings, dreams, hopes, and fears. If you prick us do we not bleed? That is as real as it can get.
Oh, I didn't mean that post to be "about" LA. I just meant it about the whole of mainstream entirely. And this Hollywood, like the Wall Street I know and love to hate, is full of emptiness. Perhaps each of us all are though, no?
Hey man, like just exist, ya know?
