Anonymous said...: Oil does matter, just like FFIV matters, just like INTC matters. Why? Because as investors we want to know where the greatest opportunity is to make money. I agree wit you, that oil prices don't effect the FFIV's or the INTC's of the world. And as a tech investor you don't need to see all the inventory data, yield curve, consumer debt/GDP ratios, etc... But it matters to energy investors, it matters to generalists, and other portfolio managers. So, in the meantime shave your beard, get a haircut and here's a tip, quit flapping your arms and hands all over like an idiot saying that this kind of information doesn't matter.
